Each month at the Woods Library the Tucson Guitar Society hosts an array of guitarists performing various styles of acoustic music. The first part is an open mic format and players have ranged from ages 6 to 77, and all skill levels are welcome. For the second half, we often invite a featured guest from the vast pool of extraordinarily gifted local talent. Players include area professionals, teachers, current and former university students, while the styles include classical, folk, jazz, and original compositions.
