Ballet Tucson and the Tucson Guitar Society present Viva Piazzolla in collaboration with the Tucson Desert Song Festival. The emotionally charged life of legendary composer and nuevo tango godfather, Astor Piazzolla, is portrayed through live music by the world renowned Bandini-Chiacchiaretta Duo (bandoneon and guitar) and tenor Carlos Zapien. Ballet Tucson leads a stellar cast in this theatrical experience. Viva Piazzolla promises to be a feast for the senses, filled with visual drama, lush movement, and passionate live music and song.
